Winster Limited has come to the aid of a conservation project in Yorkshire.  Conserve Wildlife, established in 2005 relies heavily on community support and sponsors to support its vital conservation work.  Typical projects include hedgerow restoration and tree planting.

One of the current projects is to construct a large wildlife conservation pond, which means the charity need to be able to pump dirty water on the site.  After securing a submersible pump, the Wildlife Conservation Site Manager, Paul Hayward approached Val Gardner, MD of Winster to see if the company would be prepared to donate some layflat hose to connect to the pump.

“We were delighted to be given the opportunity to support Conserve Wildlife” said Val, “our Heavy Duty Yellow Layflat hose is the perfect solution for this kind of work.”  The hose has already been collected and will soon be working hard on site.

Paul Hayward commented “Whilst we have strong links with the RSPCA, The Badger Trust and other organisations, we don’t receive funding from any of them and so it is fantastic when companies like Winster make such generous donations.  The layflat hose will really help us move the conservation pond project forward.”
